The regional project "Green Transition: Circular Economy in the Western Balkans" (CEWB6) is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) over the period January 2025 to April 2028.
The main goal of the CEWB6 is to establish institutional and economic foundations for regional, circular material flows in the WB. It promotes regional dialogue and cooperation, the competencies of cities and municipalities, and regional market opportunities for circular business models.

The contractor is responsible for providing advisory and technical support to WB6 CIF, NALAS and other relevant partners in 6 economies of the WB region. Therefore, it is expected to bring demonstrated experience in EU circular economy policy, market assessments, EPR schemes, plastic waste prevention, stakeholder coordination, and municipal capacity building.
