As a follow up question, could you let us know whether the criteria will be considered as met in case the Team Leader will apply for GALS copyright at the time of the acquisition? Until now GALS has been open source with many adaptations and manuals being created, so the requirement of possessing a copyright is new to many most prominent Team Leaders. According to the information from GALS website, the copyright is not required, unless GALS will be notified of the use and conditions of use are followed (see: https://gamechangenetwork.org/resources/copyright-and-usage/).

Answer:
We can only apply a fair use of criteria when assessing all candidates. You can always apply for GALS copyright, yet our assessment remains based on having GALS copyright.


The answers to these questions become part of the tender documents.

QUESTION:
With regards to Team Leader position, the ToR states that the expert shall possess 5 years in GALS and Gender Participatory Reviews training GPR with possession of copyright for GALS modification to adapt to the Bangladeshi context.

Could you confirm whether such copyright must be presented by the Team Leader in case we are to be eligible for the tender? Can such a copyright be presented by any other team member, as an alternative?

ANSWER:

other team members can have the copyright yet it"s an explicit criteria for the team leader to have copy right in place.
